“I grew up in a very musical home – being handed sheet music to sing with the rest of the family is among my earliest memories. I saw Amadeus as a child and it instantly became my all-time favorite movie. I was immensely inspired by Mozart and his very early beginnings as a composer, and used to spend hours composing on the piano or on the computer.
While everyone around me liked Britney and Christina, I was mad about Shlomo Gronich, and his complex, vocal-heavy, jazz-influenced unique style. I founded my first band when I was in 5th grade and it lasted for about a month – which taught me not to rely on others to advance in life, only on myself.
I played the piano, and for a few years, the cello; at some point I even played as first cellist in a summer camp youth orchestra. While in high school, I would practice for hours in the rooms of the Academy, dreaming that it would pay off because one day I was going to have a band like Symphony X. I graduated high school in music, as a pianist.
After graduating from high school in music as a pianist, I went to study at the Rimon School of Contemporary Music. There I produced a musical, in which I also performed and served as composer, vocal coach, costume and stage designer, recording technician and much more. Through the years I accumulated an array of experiences – singing in all kinds of venues and ensembles, to all kinds of audiences.
I was now ready to start the band of my dreams alongside my dear friend Orr Didi with whom I’d had the best musical experiences over the years. We built the foundation of Scardust writing and composing the music we love the most, then we joined forces with some of the best instrumentalists in the country and Scardust became a reality”

Yoav started playing the drums when he was 11. His mother wanted him to learn to play an instrument, and that was the instrument he chose. She said that before considering buying a drum kit, she wanted to see him persist at studying for a year. He did, and then nagged his parents until they got him a kit.
“At first, I wasn’t really about playing songs, I just loved the sounds of the drums and playing exercises. The music I was listening to wasn’t really great – very mainstream stuff and trance music. The change came when I was 14. I went into my brother’s room one day, and took some of his metal CDs. Since then my favorite band is Death. That year I played my first gig with my brother’s punk band. Then there was a period when I played in various punk and hardcore bands, but by the time I was 16, I was more into metal. I waited eagerly for my 17th birthday because I wanted to get a double pedal. From that time on, I’ve only played in metal bands.”
From 2010 to 2013 Yoav was drumming for Century Media band Sonne Adam, playing several European tours with them. At the same time he began playing with newly formed Scardust before leaving to become Scardust’s fulltime master of the drums.

Aaron has been playing piano since the age of 4! He grew up studying and playing classical piano, majoring in music in high school. This involved classical recitals, performing with an orchestra and participation in a variety of concerts.
At the age of 17 Aaron played bass guitar in a prog metal band, participated in a local band battle program and recorded a few songs. At 23 he was playing bass again in a local rock band, played some gigs with some original material and some covers. Aaron is a longtime friend of Scardust, having been invited to join on keyboards when the band formed in 2015. At the time his life commitments made it impossible but when the opportunity to join the band came up again in 2021 there was no hesitation, he was in playing keyboards in the band ever since.

Gal started out as a Mizrahi Oriental music fan, before becoming the metalhead that he is today.
He started to play piano at the age of 9 writing his first music piece a year later and eventually taking up the guitar at 14. He began by playing an Ibanez SA Standard but after just a year with the Ibanez Gal moved to a Jeff Loomis signature 7 string Schecter. 2015 saw Gal switch guitars again this time to Strandberg which he still plays today.
Gal’s musical history includes stints with tech death metal band ‘Phantom Pain’, ‘Neolia’ and the Israeli Haken tribute band. Gal also studied 4 years at Rimon school of music , performance & production & composition from 2019 – 2023 before becoming Scardust’s resident guitar maestro in April 2023.
Born in 1995, Bar Sasson grew up in a musically passionate home, where progressive rock was a daily ritual. He picked up the bass at age 12 and began performing live at 15. At 18, he joined the metalcore band Canine, recording the album The Uprising, touring Europe, and opening for international acts like The Black Dahlia Murder. Known for his high-energy performances and use of advanced techniques like three-finger picking, double thumbing, and tapping, he has since been involved in projects like Sijjin and various live acts, and is now the bassist for Scardust.
“What drives me most as a musician is the connection with the stage — the chance to create something people won’t forget. In a band full of fast, virtuosic drums, guitars, and keys, I strive to let the bass hold its own — not by being louder, but by being alive. I want every note to carry energy, emotion, and clarity, and to make the audience feel it right in their chest. That’s the moment I’m always chasing.”
